Technically all that says is that he might suck at running casinos.

"I think that 11 failed business ventures out of hundreds is pretty ****ing solid. You don't have to agree with him on policy to accept this." Let's see. If I were a business and I was looking for potential employers or managers the last thing I would do is hire someone known for multiple bankruptcies. But in your opinion, that's a successful strategy. I don't buy it. Quote:

= 11 failures.
Stop looking further into something that makes no sense. He's not a successful businessman if he has multiple bankruptcies in his record. He has tried multiple strategies, and each one has ended up in him or the company losing money. If that's what success looks like to you, then I feel sorry for whatever business you end up being in charge of in your later years. |

Let's make it closer to Trump's number and say that 1 out of 5 goes bankrupt. That leaves you with 4 successful businesses. That sounds pretty damned successful to me.

Even during his speech he admitted that not paying his taxes makes him smart while simultaneously not admitting that he doesn't pay taxes. You know why? Because he doesn't want people to believe that he's no longer wealthy. He brings up examples of business that make absolutely no sense, and yet that still makes him a success. I'm going to define him by what I see from him in a political sense, and not as a human being, which both aren't too far from the other, and he's failing at that too. Whether the polls agree with me is another figure in itself. |

(And I do know some folks who know a lot about business and economics--those are my wife's areas of expertise.) Of course, laypersons do still think of bankruptcies as something disastrous, and that impression could hurt the general perception of Trump. |

Comparing Trump with Vince McMahon is so damn appropriate. Both are puff out your chest, egotistical blowhards who are the face and spokesmen of corporations that are based on theater and fallacy.
