Let's see. If I were a business and I was looking for potential employers or managers the last thing I would do is hire someone known for multiple bankruptcies. But in your opinion, that's a successful strategy. I don't buy it.

He's not a successful businessman if he has multiple bankruptcies in his record. He has tried multiple strategies, and each one has ended up in him or the company losing money. If that's what success looks like to you, then I feel sorry for whatever business you end up being in charge of in your later years.

This would certainly be true if he didn't continue to make himself look like a liar and a failure.

Even during his speech he admitted that not paying his taxes makes him smart while simultaneously not admitting that he doesn't pay taxes. You know why? Because he doesn't want people to believe that he's no longer wealthy.

He brings up examples of business that make absolutely no sense, and yet that still makes him a success.

I'm going to define him by what I see from him in a political sense, and not as a human being, which both aren't too far from the other, and he's failing at that too. Whether the polls agree with me is another figure in itself.

I don't know anyone who knows much about business or economics who would say that. In the world of businesses that make many millions to billions annually, bankruptcies aren't seen the way persons outside of that world see them.

(And I do know some folks who know a lot about business and economics--those are my wife's areas of expertise.)

Of course, laypersons do still think of bankruptcies as something disastrous, and that impression could hurt the general perception of Trump.
