SLC Punk is about how this hardcore punk rocker kind of grows out of the scene. It was comparable to Kids because it was a raw look at the culture.
SLC Punk 2 is about one of the original character's kids dealing with a break up. It's comparable to a half assed version of that road trip movie where the virgin hooks up with his best friend if it were directed by Nickelodeon.
