People love the two sided fighting and bickering that happens every election cycle between red and blue. It's like a drug in many ways.

So, you won't give a third party the chance to do well, you'll wait until they've done well enough to vote for them. And instead of helping that cause, you'll instead throw your vote towards someone who is corrupt and you know is a bad vote.
