This election is the best thing man. The crazy on every conceivable point of view is on full show.
John Oliver had another go at Trump, this time talking about a wall. Funny video. Changed nobody's opinion on Trump, so job done.

I agree, most entertaining presidential election in my lifetime.
Glad to see Trump, if nothing else, blowin up the GOP status quo. OF COURSE he's a big meanie racist, everyone to the political right of Ta-Nehisi Coates is in league with Jack Donovan by progressive standards. Or, um, something. I really don't care, don't get too breathless about politics anymore. It's all a ****ing botch. lol. Life goes on. LOL @ kids calling for the assassination of Trump. haw haw. Typical excitable and clueless Left.

Perspective:
The USA - Mexico border is 1,954 miles long. That's 10.3 million feet. A large portion of the border is out in the middle of nowhere. To try and get construction crews out there would cost a fortune. Now lets assume the wall has to be pretty high, pretty solid, and topped with some nasty stuff. Otherwise you could just break through it or climb over it. Ok, between labor, materials, transportation, etc. let's figure a minimum cost of $50 a foot to construct Trump's wall. That's over a half a billion dollars. And he's going to get Mexico to foot the bill? In other news....

Can we just assume that anything that sounds like the ravings of a supervillain is probably just a campaign promise that he's going to either weasel out of, or try to implement, fully aware that it will fail, and then blame it on the Democrats?
There's plenty to not like about Trump, but the whole wall thing, and banning Muslims, can almost certainly be shrugged off as bluster. It's not like we really have to start preparing counterarguments to shut this down when the time comes, since these ideas are so ludicrous that they'll shut themselves down anyway.
