Is he actually saying this stuff or are we intentionally over exaggerating because we disagree with elements of what he says?

As far as I remember, he said not to let any muslims in, as long as the ISIS situation isn't sorted out. In that case: Exaggeration.
But he may have said something else in that vein, I don't follow politics closely.

He's made a few comments about deportation of Muslims, spying on mosques, etc.

https://www.donaldjtrump.com/positions

EDIT: I can't find anything on the deportation element, could be an overblown thing I saw on the Internet.

Look, it's not a real concern if, like many of you, would not have to deal with a President Trump. I would, and this maniac scares the living piss outta me. What's also troubling is that there's a whole legion of copycats springing up like Ted Cruz, plus his lunatic followers

Now, I'm just about positive I'm about to be flamed, probably by someone who won't have to live through a Trump administration. So be it. I for one will do whatever meager thing I can do to see Bernie Sanders elected, but if Hillary gets the Democratic nomination I will hold my nose and vote Hillary. None of the Republicans, least of all Trump, will get my vote.

I don't think anyone here likes Trump. I sure as hell don't.
Still think it's a good thing to point out if things are being overexaggerated or misunderstood, like this whole ban on muslims thing seems to be here.

That's why I played the clip of Trump unquestionably stating that he wants to ban Muslims. No edits, no commentary, just Trumps own works straight from his facehole.

TH phrased it in such a way, as if he wants to deport all muslims living in America, Goof questioned it, I told the correct version, you backed it up with the video.

I like Trump. I don't think I would really want him running my country, but he's entertaining. Obviously if he got into power we wouldn't actually see the banning of Muslims entering America, it's just a way to win the attention and initial nomination.

From what I gather he's more Libertarian than he is right-wing, which is promising.

You gotta remember that most of these people just say what they need to to get into positions of power. Hillary being a prime example.

But do you really want somebody like Sanders running the country? He's essentially a socialist.

So is a helluva lot of Europe, especially Sweden and Denmark. We should do so well. And Bernie is a Social Democratic.
