And over the last 10 years their labor standards and conditions have improved dramatically - and their prices have gone up accordingly. They are still less expensive than the US for the most part but they are no longer cheap. In that same time a lot of the bigger US companies have moved over to Vietnam, who are about where China was 10-15 years ago. Costs there are maybe 10% cheaper on average. Quote:
And Trump's net worth year after year is highly debatable since he relies on a lot of questionable assets to pad his numbers.

You do realize however he was making the Forbes 400 list by the early 80's and his wealth largely exceeded that of his father's becoming the lone Trump on the Forbes list in 1985 after his father slipped off. |

but i'm not pulling the slavery stuff out of thin air... it's been documented by al jazeera (who were accordingly expelled from the country for sharing it) that china sends its own people to forced labor camps where they manufacture goods and then send them to a "front" company to circumvent the western laws against buying goods produced by forced labor. |

Just saw "12 Years a Slave" the other day. Terribly depressing movie.
Michael Fassbender played one of the most vile and wicked characters I've seen in a long time. His wife in the movie was just about as bad.
