I actually forgot about that fight, I think that says something about the card. It was awesome though for sure. It was such a back and forth bout, and if Woodley was fighting anybody else it surely would have ended in the 4th. Really hope they go again soon, especially since it ended in draw.

Can somebody explain to me why global warming is actually a big deal? We all know it's overstated, and the goalposts have been changed quite substantially over time. Comes across as a clear excuse to further tax the public under the pretense of "saving the planet" (as if any of these politicians care about that ).

Not gonna pretend like I know **** all about global warming as in many ways I am still recovering from being a libertarian, but I'm still amused when I recognize a fellow (former) Kool-Aid drinker.

16 out of 17 of the hottest years on record occurred in the 21st century. Doesn't seem very overstated to me.

Not really. It's a trendy way of saying you're a Republican without having to feel like an ******* for voting against civil rights, even though the vast majority of libertarians don't care about civil rights. I'm sure at some point I cared enough about the economic arguments against libertarianism to have an intelligent conversation but it's been years since I lost faith in politics during my deconversion, so I probably can't remember them. But libertarianism is utopian conservatism that would work only marginally better than actual laissez faire capitalism.

Libertarians don't argue against civil rights. Libertarianism is about complete independence for the individual, so I'm not sure where you get that from. Absolute mental gymnastics being performed.
