The thimble! It's smaller. Derp derp.
If someone would rather drink a glass of cyanide than a thimble full of milk (to change it around), it has no implication for their intelligence or intellectual abilities.

The only way something like that would have an implication for their intelligence or intellectual abilities is if we know that (a) they prefer to remain alive, (b) they're familiar with what milk and cyanide are, they're familiar with the effects of each, etc. (Re (b), by the way, ignorance versus knowledge is not at all the same thing as intelligence. Relative ignorance or knowledge in no way imply intelligence. Intelligence has to do with how people are able to process the information they possess. Ignorance vs knowledge is a matter of just what information they possess to process.)

But if they'd simply prefer to kill themselves or to take their chances with cyanide for whatever reasons, that has no implication for their intelligence or intellectual abilities.

There aren't correct (or incorrect) preferences to have.

Do you actually think that the big corporations that have pumped hundreds of millions of dollars into Hillary's super PACS, (far more than Bush ever received) are going to allow their investment to go to waste?

Do you actually think the 1% who runs the country is going to allow working class voters in Ohio to dictate policy to them through Trump???

Hell no! If you are real progressive you might want to help Trump win, because next to Trump, Hillary is the most historically unpopular candidate of the modern era. She will be out in 4 to pave way for Marco Rubio.
Great post.

This way of thinking is insane and out of touch with reality. Also proves to me that Xurtio hit the nail on the head when he said you're probably just a pretentious philosophy student or striving to be one. I don't have a horse in this presidential race, and maybe I didn't fully comprehend your babble in previous posts, but I barely said anything worth being called dumb for and your constant cry for intellectual superiority is obvious. I'd rather have occasional bouts of ignorance and misguidance and admit to it than constantly having to push my AP philosophy class on people. Have fun with that.

I think The Dude said it best. You're not wrong, you're just an assh*le.

With this comment you've proven just how hopelessly blind you are to reality when it comes to your man crush with Trump.

He's clearly in the camp of 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 11. And maybe even more that we don't know about. See the article below for reference.

That's about one person, not females on the whole. Without more information on it, it also could have been true--who knows if he didn't even have inside info on it. After all, it's not as if Trump wouldn't know any media bosses.

Actually, that way of thinking reflects reality. It's a fact that there are no correct preferences, and a fact that preferences do not imply intelligence.

I'm in my 50s. I haven't been a student in awhile. I acquired my degrees approximately 20 to 30 years ago.

That's your insecurity about your own intellectual background and abilities talking. Try to further yourself rather than needing other folks to talk like high school dropouts just so you don't feel insecure.

I'm finding it increasingly difficult to believe that you're a fellow musician who'd be around my age.

Anyway, how would you define misogyny so that Trump's comments on the page you linked to would qualify as misogynistic?

Also, yes, I'd vote for Trump this time around if I were voting, but I'm not a big fan of his or anything. I disagree with him on many things. And I'd defend Hillary against a lot of let's-jump-to-conclusions criticism, too. In general, I am not at all a fan of either Democrats OR Republicans. I hate that we have a system where only those two parties can produce viable candidates. But I'd rather have Trump in office than Hillary.

That's dumb and you're starting to sound like Chula. You don't tell another human being that they have their job cause they're pretty. That's what scumbags, and only scumbags, do. I question just how many girls you actually pull, or at least how many of them have daddy issues.

I might not be totally on the side of the "Trump Is a Racist" group, but I def think he's a sexist.
