If someone would rather drink a glass of cyanide than a thimble full of milk (to change it around), it has no implication for their intelligence or intellectual abilities.

The only way something like that would have an implication for their intelligence or intellectual abilities is if we know that (a) they prefer to remain alive, (b) they're familiar with what milk and cyanide are, they're familiar with the effects of each, etc. (Re (b), by the way, ignorance versus knowledge is not at all the same thing as intelligence. Relative ignorance or knowledge in no way imply intelligence. Intelligence has to do with how people are able to process the information they possess. Ignorance vs knowledge is a matter of just what information they possess to process.)

But if they'd simply prefer to kill themselves or to take their chances with cyanide for whatever reasons, that has no implication for their intelligence or intellectual abilities.

There aren't correct (or incorrect) preferences to have.

Also, yes, I'd vote for Trump this time around if I were voting, but I'm not a big fan of his or anything. I disagree with him on many things. And I'd defend Hillary against a lot of let's-jump-to-conclusions criticism, too. In general, I am not at all a fan of either Democrats OR Republicans. I hate that we have a system where only those two parties can produce viable candidates. But I'd rather have Trump in office than Hillary.
