My mom was born with a vagina in 1930. All throughout grade school, junior high, high school, and nursing school she was pretty butch and was only attracted to women and had a number of intimate relations with a number of them. Because of intense family and social pressures she gave it an honest try to go straight. She fell in love with my dad, and had 3 kids over the course of 5 years. They bought a house with a white picket fence, got a dog, and settled into Eisenhower/Kennedy Americana.

When I was 2 my dad came home from work early and caught my mom with another woman. They divorced and I was raised for the next 15 years in a home with my butch mom and her fem partner(s).
