I had a very wondeful legal aspects prof. That drilled into me the awesomeness of the bill of rights and the constitution,after we were all made to read Thomas Payne's Common Sense. I long since stopped identifing with the right after that at really got into the constitution. But travelling abroad in my youth and not having some sort of facsimile of a real imidiate family, as they are scattered and dont practice family values on either side that I kinda feel like my country is the only family I got some times, whatever race color or creed.
