I can't prove Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny, The Tooth Fairy, Nessy, or Bigfoot don't exist. But based on my own logic and common sense I can come to the conclusion that they do in fact, not exist.

I don't need proof. It's too stupid to consider.

So you're basically throwing Christians, Catholics and any religion that believes in a diety in the category of "stupidity". I don't believe in it myself, but if you're going to have such a narrow thought process on the subject, you're better off keeping your opinions to yourself.

Yes. I really don't see how the size of our government has anything to do with any of the things you listed. If anything, having traveled the third world extensively should have you appreciating what we have here in the USA instead of blaming all of your ills on our government.

@Ki How else does someone get tricked into believing in it? Being really smart?

I'm not saying they're being tricked or not, but if someone lives by a belief, that doesn't automatically make them stupid. If that were the case for everything, nobody would be allowed to have an opinion on anything.

It shouldn't be up to us to decide if someone's belief is stupid if that's what they are raised to believe. If anything, blame the parents.

I guess you could say that they never think critically about anything they already know, which doesn't always equate to stupidity.

That's sort of my point, yes. It's the same if you were raised to believe that noise rock is the best genre in the world. Doesn't make you stupid, it just means you haven't had a taste for anything else to believe otherwise.

So my grandmother is a newfound Trump supporter and she was telling me how bad and scary the Mexicans are and if we fixed that problem, everything would be okay. I told her not to scapegoat people. She said "I'm not scapegoating, Mexicans are just responsible for almost all of our problems."

Do you guys see why I hate white people so much now
