Great. Just know that my entire argument is that the fact that there is fluoride in our drinking water is a meaningless statement unless you can back it up with some kind of argument. You can't just say that and expect people to fill in the blanks with mindless fear.

If there is one thing I've learned as an environmental science major, it's that people do stupid stuff thinking they are helping the environment all the time. Also, funding to do things to right way is often an issue, which leads to bandaids that cause long term problems(a common denominator in many of our problems as a society). Idk much about this whole fluoride thing other than that it's in our water, but maybe this was just another one of those "road to hell paved with good intentions" environmental ideas that happened to stick?
Why are you against it? Do you have any legitimate peer-reviewed research papers about why it's bad?

Because the big bad Government didn't ask "pretty please" first before doing it.
The just in: Government scientists cure cancer! Rush Limbaugh: Once again the Government clamps down on the pharmaceutical companies. Anti-Gov clan: They just have to stick their noses into everything! Bastards.

I know I shouldn't be speaking for her. She will also tell you her own reasoning but there have been many other countries over the past few years that have decided to take it out of their water system. This ends up fueling up the people that believe it is harmful. They feel like if other countries are taking it out then it must be harmful and we are the only backwards country that isn't taking it out.

The anti-GMO hysteria would be funny if it wasn't so heartbreaking. Genetically modified wheat saves billions of lives on the subcontinent and other GMO's allow mankind to feed itself using far less horrible pesticides. Hershey is giving up on beet sugar because they've switched to GMO sugar beets so they wouldn't have spray millions of gallons of poison on the earth. This insane anti-GMO campaign is a surefire path to starvation and pesticide disaster.
It's almost exactly like the anti-vaccine bull**** just bigger. Science eliminates smallpox, polio, measles, and more. Instead of huge celebrations we get horrible misinformation about autism. It's ****ing incredible. |

This is the kinda **** that makes apologies hollow. Dj: was the only person qualified to even sorta remotely answer for me. Clancy would be the only other person that could accurately sum up my thoughts on things. Although I havent ranted privately to either one of them as to why I don't want fluoride in the drinking water.Or why I think they are spraying the air with toxins...... You think you have tin foil hat jokes now? I've got "satire" for days. On why its bad for you .Not all fluoride this particular version of flouride is harmful to the mind and the third eye . But y'all aint ready. ....so no flouride in the water BECAUSE SCARECROW.
