Poor men, didn't get mentioned by name in a section about maternal leave. I hope BLM pays for this.

Do you just pretend to see this stuff or something? I imagine it's easier to make this shit up than attempt to deal with things in a more rational and perhaps critical fashion.

The images I posted are not about maternal leave in any way, and do not mention it once. They come under the sections of "Black Families" and "Black Villages". I don't think it takes a genius to see that if you want to help "Black Families" and create some kind of "Black Village" (????) then it might be an idea to include fathers.

No, I can't. What are the undertones?

The undertone is to not mention fathers. Limiting the importance of fathers within the family structure. Why would they say they want to "disrupt the Western-perscribed nuclear family structure" if they were promoting the idea of mothers and fathers raising their children as a unit?

It was the undertone of the whole thing. But I know this is your axe that nobody can convince you to stop grinding so I'll leave you to be outraged by this.

I suppose that would be easier than thinking about something for a couple of minutes.

*sigh*

They are talking about communities helping each other to raise families as a collective. That's actually how it was for me growing up. When I was in grade school there was about a half dozen of us kids that hung together all of the time. We ate at each other's homes. Got scolded by each others parents if we messed up. Got driven around to little league games, etc. and cheered on by each others parents. I had a single mom working night shifts to pay the bills so I relied on some of my friends' moms a lot during the hours my mom would be sleeping.

That's the kinda **** they are talking about.

The fact that they don't single out the word "father", and the way you choose to interpret it is messed up. I'll assume that you have read each and every sentence of their entire mission statement. The fact that you've chosen to cherry pick those particular lines to make your point against the entire BLM movement is.... disturbing.

You pointed to the fact that the Dems during the last 8 years have taken a hatchet to the constitution. Why not mention the fact that the GOP forged the hatchet in the wake of 9/11 and kept it going for the next 7 years prior to Obama taking office.

Care to comment on this:

Quote:
2001 Executive Order limiting the Freedom of Information Act:

Executive Order 13233, was drafted by Alberto R. Gonzales and issued by President George W. Bush on November 1, 2001.

This order was revoked on January 21, 2009, as part of President Barack Obama's Executive Order 13489.
You just want to blame the Dems for everything that's wrong without providing anything of real substance. As far as big government goes, Obama's been getting it back in line.
