Same could be said of Christianity just a couple of centuries ago. Look at what the Inquisition did in South America.
Point being I'm on board with hating extremist Islam but the pot needs to hold back just a bit when calling the kettle black. Don't talk about it like it's some sort of singular event in our history.

Is anyone saying it's a singular point in history? I haven't read that on here, but I might have missed it. The point is, this is the problem we have right now. If the Inquisition were a problem right now, we should address it. But it's not. Right now, Islam is.
Just because X did something in the past doesn't mean Y should be allowed to get away with it now. |
