If you have not read the Quran then you don't know enough to know what is actually in the text and how peaceful it is. You only see snippets of the Quran being basterdized.
You said you have a problem with the religion of Islam which all Muslims are supposed to be practicing. You are the only one making yourself look bad and not coming across well.
So it's okay for you to have free speech but if their free speech doesn't agree with your views it's not okay. Is that what you are saying or am I not reading that right?

1. The Quran is peaceful? Have you read it yourself? Like I said, I've only seen snippets, but I have also listened to many Ex-Muslims, religious scholars and practicing Muslims discussing the violence within it. The Quran's Verses of Violence

2. I do have a problem with islam, just like I have a problem with Christianity and any other organized religion. I don't feel the need to qualify every sentence on the matter by saying "I also don't like x, x and x".

3. I'm obviously not saying I should have free speech and Muslims should not. I don't understand how you even came to that conclusion. I'm saying I dislike the bad ideas within Islam, and the Muslims who go out and practice the bad ideas. I've already stated that I am aware of the difference between the majority of good intentioned Muslims and terrorists.

yeah, you're right. i know people who hate islam hate hearing this and think islam is just one thing but people have different interpretations of the religion. theres even a gay imam in france which a lot of people would argue is unislamic but whatever, hes free to call himself a muslim if he wants to.
