Republicans have big businesses, Democrats have corrupt unions. All of them are greedy because its inherent to being a person. You seriously cannot be so naive to think that you can't be a liberal and greedy at the same time. Not to mention that this whole time I've been discussing people in general, not the politicians. Enjoy the blindfold mate.

Never said that mate.

Ah so this whole discussion has been a total misunderstanding on my part. I thought you were doing your typical my side can do no wrong thing. Like assuming that a greedy person is a republican, for example.

I've stated here numerous times: Lesser of two evils. Which party has the greedier big business platform based on the last 50 years? Stop being so smug.

 sure, a 100,000 acre wildfire is worse than an 80,000 acre one.

Come on. Don't give me the textbook response. The US military could squish out the largest civilian militia as easily as I could swat a mosquito off my arm. Gun control is as much about safety as it is regulation. Should I be able to walk into my local gun shop and buy a couple of dozen rifles and handguns and 5,000 rounds of ammo without some sort of checks and balances? Should sawed off shotguns be made legal again? How about fully automatic machine guns? Should Amazon be able to start selling bazookas?

The 2nd amendment is not black and white. The founding fathers really screwed up with their choice of syntax when they wrote it. That's why it's still being debated to this day.

This is an excellent read on the 2nd.

Can you summarize what's so special about the book for those of us who are either too lazy or disinterested to read it?
