I'd learned to expect that from you, Goofle.
Loves me some Rachel Maddow. The last true liberal progressive MSNBC has. |

Now you're just trying to be funny. In the sea of night time TV news personalities - from both sides of the aisle - she one of my favorites too.

An Engineer Explains Why Trump's Wall Is So Implausible
40,000 labourers working for 4 years and pouring 61 trillion tons of concrete at a cost of no less than $25 billion dollars. - and he expects Mexico to fund it - and he expects congress to OK it - and he expects it won't tank like so many of his business ventures have Just beyond ridiculous. Ludicrous. Preposterous. Yet the battle cry at his rallies is: Are we going to build a wall? Delirious crowd: YES!!!!!!!!!! And who's going to pay for it? Delirious crowd: MEXICO!!!!!!! Seriously, is this what a large portion of the GOP voting block have succumbed to? It's like total fiction.

It's not only fictitious it's obscenely embarrassing and disrespectful to our friendly southern neighbor. America has been very lucky to maintain positive friendly non-violent relationships with Mexico and Canada. As Americans it's important not to take these friendships for granted. I cannot express how stupid, irresponsible, and yes, Hitler-esque, it is to publicly and intentionally rally crowds to chant intimidating and disrespectful things to Mexico. It may not be a perfect relationship but Mexico is our FRIEND. What kind of idiot starts trouble with a southern neighbor with 120 million people? A fascist, that's what kind of idiot does that. This idea that America can do and say whatever we want is incredibly stupid. Having good relationships with our neighbors since the end of the Mexican-American War has been a very important component to our success as a nation. Even when Trump is defeated a lot of damage will already have been done by his moronic rhetoric. The American people need to speak up and express our appreciation for the longstanding peaceful and respectful (if not perfect) relationship we have had with Mexico. And inside our borders we need to respect Mexican American culture and identity. Mexicans contribute greatly to this nation.
Trump is so hideous. |

Amen. I've lived in San Diego county for almost 20 years now. My family are huge minorities here. I've come to admire and respect the Mexican culture like crazy.

It is now mathematically impossible for anyone not named Trump to be nominated to the Republican ticket.
There are 2 possible results in a Trump vs Clinton election in November: 1. Hillary wins, it which event Bernie supporters like myself will oppose her every step of the way (aside from a few social issues where I tend to more or less agree with her) and look forward to 2020. I believe there's < 10% chance that Hillary loses. 2. Trump somehow pulls it off, if this happens we're all completely fucked unless our name is Donald Trump Last edited by Paul Smeenus; 04-22-2016 at 06:43 PM. |
