Care to expound on this in direct relation to his actions?

I'm assuming Soulflower is talking about Cult of Personality or something along those lines, in which case I would agree with her. He wouldn't be the first 'good looking' terrorist to be sentenced to death.

Wasn't solely referring to this specific case with that statement but to the ongoing issue of crime in general. Can't really compare a homeless person stealing food or something to this whackjob blowing up a bunch of innocent people.

Man, I never knew Frownland's dad was such a badass.

Or she could have been saying that. It would be nice if she would come in and clarify, rather than one of her usual "didn't you read my post", um, posts? Well yes we did but it was in no way clear what you were getting at, as both Urban and I have arrived at totally different conclusions, and Chula thinks something else altogether.

But does that mean he deserves to die?

I definitely feel he should have some harsh consequence but I don't think a painless lethal injection is suffering.

It would be nice if you addressed what you disagreed with in a respectful way instead of being disrespectful and patronizing every time you disagree. This is not just with me because I notice you do the same to other members as if your font is some superior being and everyone is suppose to bow down to your opinion as law. I am not sure what stick you have up your ass or what your problem is but I am not putting up with your b.s.

Your encouragement thread is a joke when you have been disrespectful yourself here on occasions.

Thanks this is actually the point I was hitting on although I discussed multiple points in my post. Dzhokhar appearance was glamorized when photos of him first hit the headlines. I felt it was outrageous that the Rolling Stones actually put his picture on their front cover, not to mention he is not even a singer but he was suddenly made into this celebrity because he is attractive.

The point I was trying to make with bringing that up is to show that if he was to go to prison that would actually do a lot more suffering to him emotionally and psychologically. He is a young man and for him to live the rest of his days locked away would give him a lot to reflect on and would do more to his emotions/mood because he is so young, was popular and attractive with peers, girls before the Boston incident occurred. IMO it would do a lot more damage than a quick slow painless death.

Just to be clear *rolls eyes* the reason why I said that I made my stance and perspectives clear on the topic is because Chula took a phrase out of an entire paragraph I had wrote which I felt took the entire point I was making with the paragraph out of context.

I mostly certainly was not concentrating or his looks with my paragraph which is why I said I made my stance clear on how he should be disciplined.

This board has a very bully driven mentality, its really sad....

Lighten up, he clearly understood the rest of the post but not that part and wanted you to clarify. Not everyone on here is always trying to attack you, as far as I know I'm the only one who prides in that.

As far as the OP goes, killing him won't bring back the victims. But I guess life in prison won't bring back the victims. I think the real question is how do we resurrect those people and if we can, is it ethical?

He kind of reminds me of being the vocalist in one of those mid 00's New York dance punk bands who seem to do an impression of a fish with their mouths in every publicity photo.
