Default The Philly train crash

Just hoping nobody here had any relatives/friends involved. If so, best wishes for their recovery. Thoughts and prayers to all the victims. A terrible tragedy.

It's pretty crazy. My wife and I have been on that train several times.

Both of my sisters are deadly afraid of flying so much so that when they came out here to visit (Boston to San Diego) they took a train.

Wonder how they feel about this.

Ya, dude's lawyer is saying the driver "doesn't remember" what happened. His ass is gonna get nailed when all is said and done.

The crazy thing is apparently there was a train wreck in this same area in the 40s that killed 79 people.

Looking at the remains of the wreckage, its amazing only 7 people lost their lives. That was a rather hideous looking remains of a train. There is no excuse for the speed he was travelling having driven that route before. Hes going away for sure.

It's awful. I don't understand what business he thought he had going that fast in that area.
