He's a self-described "Democratic Socialist" so I don't think he minds the label.

I'll go out on a limb and predict he'll be about as successful in his Presidential bid as he was in his musical efforts...

I mean if Bush hadn't stolen the election Gore would've won notwithstanding Nader. But this is another reason to support ditching FPTP - spoilers really ought not to be a thing.

I don't think most Democrats and/or leftists think he has a chance; I certainly don't. I think Isbjork is an outlier. (Also he's not a socialist. Just gonna throw that out there.)

Lol "ability to speak". We're never electing somebody that Jewish.

I have a question for you. Forget about the odds for a minute, do you agree with Sanders on the issues?
no, i have a question for you. do you actually live inside msnbc?

He calls himself as a democratic socialist, /r/socialism calls him a social democrat instead of a socialist, but I don't really care. The issues are what matters.

yea, he's a pretty good promise maker. it'd be interesting to see those policies actually go into effect.

If he becomes president and his promises don't come into effect, it certainly won't be his fault. His voting record looks great. The problem is that the president can do jack **** without support from Congress. I'd rather see little get done than nothing at all, though.

yea... that, plus to me some of those policies just seem like they would be disastrous if he tried to implement them. like 'taking on wall st'... are you kidding me? this guy would just alienate the rich and make them even more determined to stamp out any residual socialist sentiment leftover from the fdr era. and the trade policy would probably **** up the global economy.

i've been watching this bernie guy speak. you know he's pretty much everything i would've wanted in a candidate when i believed the political system could work for good.. aside from the aesthetics and pageantry.

i don't want to sap the enthusiasm of the youth or whatever. i feel like you should keep doing what you're doing @ any young riled up politically active people
