I always thought it was more about giving black people access to public institutions like schools and universities.
In that case laws against discrimination are absolutely the right thing.

No Chula, I'm not "cool" with it, I find it terrible and disgusting.
Just not sure laws against bigotry actually fight it, if some racist or homophobic ******* doesn't want to serve you, he'll find a way not to or to do it as ****ty as possible.
