At the end of the day this is what it boils down to and the point of contention between elph and I.
Rather elph likes it or not the current social system/economy/whatever does not have the funds or the means to support everyone. I feel that determining fault(blame, for Frownland) is the best way to decide how to distribute support. Arguing that everyone deserves support is not something I'm opposed to except for that fact that it absolutely isn't currently a realistic solution. I think it should be something we try to achieve, but currently someone has to get the short straw and thats the absolute reality of the world. The people trying to better themselves and the ones who got stuck in a **** situation beyond their control without question qualify for support before the ones who dont. Develop a realistic solution to save humanity and support every single person in need and I'll back you 100%. |

Cool. Do we have access to it? Nope, so stop burying your head in the fantasy sand. I said realistic solutions, taking from the rich is not a realistic solution, until it is and at that time we can have a new discussion on how to distribute the wealth to increase social support.
Ive already conceded I'm not opposed to working towards the kind of goal either of you are offering, but naive solutions like "o just take it from the rich" is sadly uninformed, oversimplified, and ambitious af. |

It's not realistic, because it's achievable but short of a revolution it AINT gonna happen. So find a different solution or accept working towards it as a looooooooooooooooooooooooooong term goal.
