Two men in a committed relationship can plan to adopt a fetus, though. My brother and his partner were able to do so without being legally married. They can't make one, but they can have one.

I didn't say anything, you were replying to Dreadnaught, I was just trying to clarify what Dreadnaught meant, and I'm pretty sure Dreadnaught was just listing a number of possible situations where people get all uncomfortable about whether or not it's okay to propose or not to propose. Like between gay couples, during pregnancies, when you know a relationship is falling apart etc etc.
