damn i think i got a bit carried away with that one

sorry to drown you with words frownland but i'm basically trying to paraphrase the looming tower since i'm pretty sure most people wouldn't take the time to read the book

i only listened to it as an audiobook whenever i had to walk to school or something like that, otherwise i'd never have been exposed to it either. but prior to reading that book i had the same basic opinion that islamic terror was just a response to US foreign policy. afterwards i changed my mind.

"The Looming Tower" sounds like fantasy erotica.

If you believe that infinity or multiverse is or was created by a being that thinks like I us and has emotions like us. I think that is quite irrational, but the world is subjective and whatever people believe is the truth in their head.

. Of course A DEITY THINKS LIKE YOU. Your ego is precious.

See now I reread what you said and we might be thinking alike. But I am either too stoned or not stoned enough...

So what if I firmly believe the Lord Cthulhu will rise from the sunken city of R'lyeh on a specific date to kill us all and then he doesn't show up? At some point, the "truth" in my head would meet actual reality (in this case; an absence of Cthulhu) and I would find myself disappointed and perhaps a little disillusioned.
