Nah, he's a dick. Too extreme and does more harm than good for the atheist cause.

I don't believe in the possibility of any thus far conceptualized version of God. Outside of religion or whatever else, maybe. But it's not my concern. I do what I do to get by and have fun on the way.

Could you provide any? I've never read any of his books, but I've read summaries and his points seemed pretty intelligent and well thought out.

I don't think I could give you an immediate example, it's more so a slow build of snide remarks he makes during interviews and in documentaries, the more you listen to him the clearer it becomes that he's very easily frustrated and has a serious axe to grind with religious groups, especially religious groups involved in education. He has very little patience for loaded questions and frequently calls out interviewers that are wasting his time, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it just really alienates the audience he's trying to speak to. I still love watching him do his thing, if only to watch him stir **** and piss people off, but besides being a very intelligent scientist and a pretty damn good writer, he's quite poor at communicating to the other team compared to others in the game (most notably Neil Tyson).

Thanks EPOCH. Couldn't have said it any better. There's something to be said of a faith in a God. It's not a bad thing in an of itself. There are those that use faith within their life in awesome ways. Good on them. Makes people feel better. Dawkins kinda ****s on that at times.
