You seem quite the expert.
Can Puerto Ricans say "frijoles negros" withouth getting "curb-stomped?"

edit: not directed at anyone, I mean like saying it at a supermarket or restaurant.

i dislike most racist jokes not because they're over the line but because they seem to have been created with no effort or inclination towards genuine wit and instead focus on being as vicious as possible towards whatever their target group is.

i can laugh at a funny joke that feels really wrong to laugh at. but i don't care to laugh at a thinly veiled declaration of hate/genocidal fantasy.

To be honest, I think it is a little rude, but everyone kinda likes it.

People who are white or caucasian do want to be like people of African decent. The term "ghetto" kind of changed definition. Also, "rachet" has changed.

It is rude in my opinion but it is part of society.

This is why "black" is not rude (unless of course you just go up to some stranger and go "Hey, black dude!"). African decent is not specific. There are Arabs in Africa who have been living there many hundreds of years. Are we not calling them Africans cause we think of spear chucking natives rather than guys with turbans firing off AK-47s when we think of Africa?

I don't understand how 'Person of colour' has become a politically correct term when 'coloured' is still considered so bad.
Isn't it just the same thing.

Incidentally the reason my mothers generation called black people coloured in the first place was because they were told that the term 'black' was offensive.

I think they just like trolling white people.

Who considers it bad,Ive been refered to as "that little colored girl." by elders for years and I am not offended. You have to be an ignorant ass to look at a 75 year old and think omg racists prick.Um no,they graduated high school in 1960.What did you think they were gonna say?
