The term African Canadian is sometimes used by Black Canadians who trace their heritage to the first slaves brought by British and French colonists to the mainland of North America,[3] but many Blacks of Caribbean origin in Canada reject the term African Canadian as an elision of the uniquely Caribbean aspects of their heritage,[5] and instead identify as Caribbean Canadian.
Straight from that link.

Where do I begin? "African-Canadians" should be in quotation marks, since you're referencing the term, and not actually using it in the sentence, you misspelled "admit", and that last ... sentence, is just a mess of horrid punctuation. This may be like shooting fish in a barrel for Grammar Week, but it still had to be done. I'm just glad it was me.

I think that correcting Roxxy's posts shouldn't qualify for Grammar Nazi Week. We'd have more new posts in this coming week than the rest if the posts from 2014.

EDIT: We should also add drunk WD to the list.

It still had to be done at least once, or else she would have felt left out.

For me, negro is just another way of saying black as that's basically what the word means, just in a different language. I don't attach any malicious ill-meaning to the term. Still, I don't really use it as I've heard some might find it offensive ..

Also, I'm white and from Norway.

Yeah, just as a word, it's not inherently offensive, but in America, it's culturally persona non grata. It just has too much history as a slave word. You won't get curb-stomped quite as severely as if you use "nigger", but you don't want to throw it out there all willy-nilly either.
