As a Christian, I am SO ****ing tired of morons saying this. No, you are not persecuted you idiot. What you are experiencing is called "not having everyone around you agree with your ludicrous and sometimes borderline insane beliefs." Move to Iran or North Korea and then we'll talk about the persecution you're facing, but until then, shut it.

i think it's mostly just people being a little uneasy with modernity. they see the fact that religion is becoming a less dominant force in most of the metropolitan type areas and more of a cultural relic and that scares them cause the bible is full of stories about god getting pissed cause israel didn't worship him hard enough.

I don't think could be said (for example) of Syria, where 2.14 million people were forced to flew for the most part due to persecution. It isn't people who "just love to cry victim." They are victims.
