No one's sayin you are dude but you did just say that you didn't see anything wrong with his comments in the link I posted. And I guess we can agree to disagree on Ted's obtaining legal guardianship over a minor so he could sleep with her being sexually predatory.

I don't know, it's pretty obvious what Ted did was predatory. He even wrote a song, which I incidentally posted in this thread, about crushing her disobedient face in:

You ran the night that you left me
You put me in my place
I got you in a stranglehold, baby
That night I crushed your face

He also wrote a song called Jailbait...

Rather than agree to disagree, you're just right.

Hey man your the genius on Nugent man. I said I didn't have a problem with his comments about Hilary Clinton, Obama, and the like. His comment on African Americans can be seen in two lights. If they do act like civilized people and do the right thing then wheres the problem? That can be said for any race, creed or color. I know how interviews can be skewed. Obviously I don't condone any of it and/or consider him anyone of importance in my life, but as i've said the man is entitiled to his opionions. And how does anyone know that he filed for legal guardianship of the said girl for sexual purposes? Who exactly supplied the info on that segue?

GuD 04-24-2014 03:11 PM

Far from a genius, don't take it personally dude. I'm just responding to what you said, maybe you didn't read all the comments or something. IDK. I'm not trying to instigate or anything but here:

I didn't see one thing wrong with any of those answers.

And, it was FPK and Sansa who brought up the stuff about him becoming a guardian to get away with statutory. Still not sure how that works out legally, no one provided evidence on it either. If it is true, I stand by what I said. I just brought up the other stuff because I don't like him and that seems to be the theme the thread has taken- conservative musicians we do/don't like. I guess that's MB for ya, starts off one thing ends as something else.

Oh I never take anything personally. Especially when it comes to the defense of a privileged person in life. I wasn't implying you were instigating anything either, you're alright by me bro. You initially posted comments that didn't have the other info you posted in a later post is all. I'm not homophobic, racist, misogynist in the least and I don't want to insinuate that I am, i'm merely looking at it from a freedom of speech perspective.I'm basically playing devils advocate. Yes the thread has certainly taken a turn, and I got linked in with the tea party, but i'll get over it.

No offense taken and I hope I didn't offend anybody, except Sansa. :D

Ignoring the irrelevant tangent this thread has turned into...

^This.

EDIT: However I'll add that if you work hard (legally) and earn a lot of money, you should absolutely not be punished and forced to do something simply because you have a lot of money.

It's the super rich people like the CEOs of bankrupted organizations (totally blanking out on the names of some of the companies right now) that made extremely poor business choices, flaunting their wealth, etc.., and were consequently bailed out by the government for those poor decisions, are the people whose companies need to be regulated (gasp!) because they have way too much power and more importantly, show they only care about money.

An increase in taxes for super rich people is NOT how we solve the problem. One of the notables areas I absolutely do not agree with Obama on.

How do you expect to "regulate" them then?
