The difference between a liberal and a conservative is that both are completely self-centered, money-driven twits but the conservative is slightly more honest about it. He doesn't care about you and he'll let you know it up front. The liberal simply can't admit that he doesn't care about anything but himself and so develops stock phrases and stances that he does not follow up on with action because he doesn't really believe in them. They just sound good.
I'm sorry, but I stopped reading after this. Actually, I'm not sorry, no one believes this but you. I don't have anything nice to say to you, so I'm not going to say anything at all.

I'm probably the most left leaning person at MB. Luckily, liberalism and socialism (not the same thing by the way), don't have the negative connotation here that they do in the States.

Would have given you a 2 but people bit the bait and fed you anyways.

I wonder if the OP believes that sensible people are just different levels of conservative.

I disagree with your line about transsexuals, because it's entirely possible to support them and their rights but still be uncomfortable dating them.

For me, personally, I wouldn't mind dating a male to female, especially since many pass very well, but I can perfectly understand why some guys may be uncomfortable doing so. I don't believe that makes them hypocrites if they at least support transgender rights.
