I worry a lot about Mt. Rainier (after having just learned it's a volcano and could literally destroy this entire area in less than an hour) and just knowing that all this devastation occurred (not terribly far from where Ki and I call home) makes my heart sink.

All of the majestic snowcapped mountain peaks of the Pacific Northwest are volcanos, Rainier is the largest but also not terribly active. It could start rumbling tomorrow but it's much much more likely to not happen hundreds or even thousands of years from now,
