The point is that you don't have to rush through your life thinking that there are deadlines and if you don't hit those deadlines it is the end of the world. Slow the **** down it isn't that big of a deal. The best advice I got from this lady that was 96. So I apply it to my life.

This this this. We have all our shit together, figured out. This is why I love you. You don't make stupid decisions, you know what you want but you have a brain in your skull (unlike most people in this world). Cats. Still waiting to bring our babies home, true rescue style.

Nothing wrong with it at all. It's just that young people who know what they want in life tend to grow older, change their minds about things, and try to explain said transformation to young people who know what they want in life.

I suppose I've been very fortunate in the respect that I'm not yet 30 but have a clear and precise image of everything I want (and everything I don't). Just because other people are on the fence about some things, well ... that doesn't matter to me. Better to be in-between than rushing into some bull**** you're probably going to regret later (e.g.; children) but some of us live in a comfortable black and white state of mind - we already know what we like and don't like, and I sort of feel bad for people with too much grey but they'll figure it out eventually.

I can see where you're coming from because my parents we're that way and they tried to raise me into thinking what they thought was best for me when I knew full well that they didn't know what they wanted when they were older so it was a bit ironic for them to think what they knew was best for someone else when they don't even know. However, in my own conditions, i'd say that I have everything that I have wanted and there's always room for more, but the main things that I need to be happy are things that I have.
