I can take or leave children. To me they are like little adults - some you like and some you can't stand. Some are whiney arsed, snivellling little brats and some adults aren't much better.
I definitely want to have kids some day. |

I think that people should try to think logically before deciding to have children because it's really more beneficial and economical not to - but many seem to collapse under societal pressure about what they're "supposed to" do.

Maybe it is something to do with the fact that we are supposed to have children- not only because other people force us to that, also because our hormones and whatever I don't know force us to so it. So maybe people, when they are getting children just don't think logically, you know?
That said, I'm not sure about will I not get or will I not, but definitely some people should not have children.

Societal pressure would be buying something like skinny jeans because everyone else does. Completely. Different. Kettle. Of. Fish.

I think it's pretty debatable which option is more beneficial. Not having kids is likely to save you money. Having kids is likely to extend your life and ensure that you have somebody looking out for you when you're elderly. It's just a matter of personal preference.

How does having children extend your life? I've heard that childfree women are more likely to get cancer in their lady organs but I'm pretty sure that's just a scare tactic.

It's just sort of ridiculous that anyone would think that having children automatically guarantees you'll be taken care of when you're old and more of a burden than you'd care to admit. Learn to take care of your damn self, make proper choices and don't worry about how long you're going to live.
