I reckon most of the people who voted against having kids in the poll, will have kids.

Also ftr I hate kids for the most part as well, but I have always wanted a child one day. I can accept all the arguments against and agree with some of them but I think it's a natural thing to have a child and no amount of snotty faces is going to erase our base instincts.

I like kids, but they can give me indigestion.

Elmo is not. He ranks up there with that annoying rabbit from A Muppet Christmas Carol (I think that's the right one?).

I don't think it's "natural" or unbeatable or unavoidable. I don't believe in the "biological clock". If someone believes any of that crap, they're just putting unnecessary thoughts in their own head.

Jim Henson's original creations are the only ones that matter.

I don't have a child because they cost more money than I can budget for my future at this point in time. If people think that all the other stuff like annoying crying and all that is more important, they're either well-off or doomed. And if you can't afford a kid, you definitely can't afford your goals while having a kid. Doing that WHILE being annoyed by crying and other crap... well, guess what, you lost the good decision game.

Think before you fuck.

OK, maybe that is the case, but as I said I reckon most ppl on here will reach their early 30's and then the penny will drop.

My mate had a kid at 19, his gf was 16. I don't get how people can do that. And then how everyone congratulates them .

Can say what you like but if you have a child at that age, you are stupid.

Sounds like a stupid decision. I mean, if you never experience your youth, that does not work.

Why do all new-born babies look like Phil Collins? Think of that next time you meet one.

why not congratulate them? Yes it may be have been a stupid decision so early in their life but they don't need to hear negativity. They are about to start up the difficult process of being a young parents.

I reckon you're right. Two of my friends were adamant about not having kids when we were in our 20s. One of them now has a three year old and the other is pregnant.
