Don't know when this video was taken, but it was just released today. Rob Ford is clearly drunk or on something, and talking about violently murdering somebody (we don't know who, but the police are looking into this, for sure).

Yes, it's humorous that he was the darling of the conservatives who are suddenly extremely silent. Now, if he'd bombed an abortion clinic and shot everybody who came running out, that would be different. They'd have made him a saint.

He hasn't really been that bad of a mayor, to be honest. Most of the issues surrounding him have been related to how he comes across to people rather than work-related issues. In a way, I didn't mind how he came across just because it's so different than what you'd come to expect from a politician, and that in itself is actually kind of endearing. He seemed genuine to me, at least as far as politicians go. This whole thing blows everything up though; no chance he can recover from this.

He really does need to get help and I hope he does. At the same time, I hope the media leaves him and his family alone while he's getting treated. I heard that his kids are not going to school right now because they are being stalked by the press. That's terrible.

This is just another example as to why the British should never have given canucks the vote.
