12 people died and 3 injured.
You can read about it here. Washington Navy Yard shooting - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I think the government has some bigger guns than any citizens. That's just a guess, maybe this person has some pretty big WMDs.

of course the military has better guns. lol i would hope they would. theres still hundreds of millions of guns owned by citizens of the usa though. i dont really understand the idea that you and others seem to have of 'why even try to fight it' in the case of severe oppression or whatever. if there is a guy goin to kill me, im gonna try to kill him and its that simple |

I literally cannot understand the gun control argument. I guess it would lower the amount of random gun homicides, but what really terrifies me are mass shootings in public places, and gun control would absolutely not make a difference in that area. If a psychopath wants to shoot up a school, he's going to get a gun whether it's legal or not. Making it illegal for a law-abiding citizen to have a gun just makes it easier for the psychopath; he would have nothing to worry about! No one could stop him until police arrived, so he'd have a free 15 minutes to shoot whoever he wants, wherever he wants.
Sounds safe!!11 I don't even have a gun and I don't really want one. The only type of gun I've ever shot is a BB gun at some cans. I have no interest in having them, but I know a lot of people that feel safer by having their legally obtained weapon, and I think it should stay that way. And there's my take and now I shall never post in this thread again.

By your logic, if it useless to regulate guns because psychopaths will still break the law. Why have any laws at all?
The way it stands right now it is super easy for law abiding citizens to acquire guns through gun show loopholes and even 3-D printing their own guns.

This is America... Duh
Get a freakin gun or don't. if you wanna shoot something then you gotta get a gun. if your getting shot at then run away or take your gun out and shoot back. people are so silly. focusing on guns. its the people that should be the focus, not the tool. its absolutely misplaced energy to focus on a tool instead of the person holding the tool.
