I feel mandatory grenade ownership would curb the American gun problem. I have stats and science to back up this claim.

Do you own a gun? Do you know much about airguns? I was recommended this:

Weihrauch HW97K - Thumbhole Stock Version review - YouTube

I've already got a BSA Scorpion but that's not powerful enough to kill from distance.

I have an actual gun not a pellet gun. I do however think they are fun and sometimes useful for non lethal things. You can certainly hunt squirls and stuff with them but realize since the caliber is SOOO small you basically have to hit it EXACTLY in the correct place which is pretty difficult. If you miss you will just injure the animal, it will get away, and essentially its chancing of being killed in the wild go up dramatically.

Unless it is for survival or you are an amazing shot shooting animals with BB gun is usually questionable at best. It allowed get a 22 caliber pistol or rifle. Ruger 10-22s are super cheap and one of the best guns ever made.

Yeah, heard the target is penny sized at most, and I'd be 30m+ from the animal.

A real gun is out of the question sadly. I'd need to jump through hoops just to get one of those rifles.

I'll probably sack the gun idea off and just look at setting traps and then breaking the animals necks.

Looking at this Ruger now.

EDIT - Looks ****ing quality mate :d

Well the Ruger is a 22 so do not bother. I didnt mean to discourage you completely from the idea of bb's. I just know from personal experience how hard it is to actually kill something with one without just maiming the animal and letting it get away.

Don't worry it's cool, I wasn't intending on using guns anyway cos like I say, I'm more into survival and surviving off the land, so preferably would like to learn to catch them without the aid of a weapon.

ATM nothing. I probably will buy a knife or some sort of cutting tool at some point but not sure where I'd be able to use it.

I live in a shit location for this stuff though and as mentioned above the fact Britain can be a nanny state makes it almost impossible to practice anything for real. I could probably just about make a fire with tinder bundles and twigs (with a license) though .
