I should add, before anyone accuses me of trivilaising this or laughing at their situation, that I like most people it seems find their story would have been better written by the Brothers Grimm, and have no sympathy for what appears to have been an attempt to seriously enrich themselves and at the same time bring pain and suffering to uncounted thousands in Peru. Or wherever the drugs were destined to go. Nobody who does this sort of thing ever gives a thought to the addicts, and those they will rob, maybe even hurt or murder to get the money to buy their drugs.

So any sympathy directed towards these two shining examples of youth is in my view totally misdirected, and I feel no compunction at sneering at their story.

Also, as others have said, were these two boozed-up lads or older women nobody would give a toss. It's all about youth and sex, which is pretty disturbing given the serious nature of the crime.

Who doubts too, that should something happen to one or both of them in jail the Irish and/or British govts, and their families too probably, will take legal action against, well, whoever they can?

From what I've read, there no evidence of the girls being forced into it. I can't believed they are being on the video so casually, that I saw.

Trollheart, I love you man, but you have a really weird perception of what the average drug user is like.

Not that I have have any sympathy for these two. They're definitely morons.

I know their families are bound to stick by them, but one of their Dads (and the girls themselves apparently) saying 'they were forced to stand and smile on their balconies in Peru with a beer' as part of the set up is just ridiculous ffs :D.

This case :D. It's getting more desperate by the day.

They are without a doubt guilty. Photo's of them with well known gangsters in Ibiza too.

Yeah you're right Jasz I have no idea. Of course I'm not saying EVERY addict/user does this, but there have certainly been cases of people stealing, and even in the course of theft shooting/stabbing, to support their habit. Naturally I don't claim that happens in any percentage of cases, but it certainly has happened.

Again quite right and again apologies if I seemed to be tarring all drug users with the one brush. I'm quite aware that there are a huge amount of people who, for the want of another phrase, use drugs responsibly. But that doesn't mean that there aren't those who don't, and they can be very desperate when they can't buy their fix. Or so The Wire tells me...

Neither do I. Tobacco is anything but harmless. I smoke weed, but I don't smoke tobacco.

Tobacco is ten times more addictive and harmful than Cannabis.

I know: I'm quoting Burns: "Yes, the hippy you all knew as Wavy Gravy was me! And all this time I've been smoking tobacco! Harmless tobacco!"

I imagine the one would go well with the other. I wonder if there's some sort of procedure to make a woman's boob into a bong...
