Just a question - if people who don't have insurance get injured and go to a hospital, does it make insured people's premiums go up? That's how car insurance is here.

It gets shrouded in a lot of misinformation. It's all about fooling the people.

The Republicans are really afraid it is going to be better and they are going to be found out. They are terrified. Today they shut down the government in a desperate attempt to keep from repairing the current awful US health care system.

Barack does a pretty good job of explaining things but the other side simply puts their fingers in their ear and chants "la la la la la la la.....". Frustrating.

No, I don't think it works that way.

As someone leaning closer to a democrat than a republican, I find anyone who uses "the Republicans" like some sort of umbrella term to describe a whole group of people with different beliefs, to be a huge douche, not to mention childish about politics. And vice versa for "the democrats".
