Vanilla, sad to hear about your back problems. Of course I remember you've mentioned them before. Unfortunately, I don't think that acupuncture is an effective treatment for back pain (even if the resulting placebo might help a bit) .. How about excercise? I know people who keep their back pains in check by excercising. They're fine as long as they do it regularly, but when they stop for a while, it comes back.
Needless to say, you shouldn't have to rely on opiates and sleeping drugs to have a normal, pain free life :( If you do, that needs to get sorted out asap! |

I will keep the opiates up until I've got regular physio because I need to get my studies done and I can't do that unless I'm not in so much pain and can sit in a computer chair. I'm finishing off my sleeping tablets this week and stopping for a while, I don't want to get dependent on them or have them screw up my sleeping patterns. Thanks for your concern though it's nice to hear that people are understanding! |
one time i was in a hotel and got acupuncture. he was like 'ugh i hate needles'. i was like wow that must make it tough for you to do your job. then he laughed and was like 'nah lol i deliver paninis for a living'
really though its prob just placebo |
I feel the same way about reflexology, there's no valid science behind it.
