So wait, let's say you make some insensitive comment about rape to someone, and they're a rape victim and they get offended by it (whether they show it or not), they're weak? What?

I always find it's the weak people making offensive comments.

The only possible way I could see that as being funny, or even acceptable, would be if both parties had already decided it was ok to say that. Given what happened later, not in the least funny and certainly not a joke.

This is basically how I feel. In front of people who respect me and have known me for some time, I feel comfortable making those kinds of jokes. That one though is just plain stupid. I don't recommend ever saying anything similar to "I'm going to rape you", because it's just not funny even if you're just kidding.

I just don't think it's worth getting your panties all knotted up when you have to power to change it one way or another.

in tosh's case tho thats not a good time to speak up about how offended you are


thats why we gotta sepearate everyday humor and comedians. if someone says to me, hey 216 that joke you made about mexicans rapin me kinda made me offended, then i would no longer make mexican or rape jokes around them most likely

but if you go to a comedy club, just expect it. heckler white knights and crybabies shouldnt be at the comedy club anyway. when you start gettin all vocal about bein offended there then youre just a baby and a loser and need escorted out
