The joke was fine, OK it offended her, it's terrible she got raped. Not sure why he was wrong to make the joke. & Surely she would have known the sort of material he writes before going to one of his shows?
I don't really mean to butt in on this, but the joke that Daniel Tosh made was: "Rape is always funny, right?" To which she disagreed aloud.

Daniel Tosh made victims the butt of his joke. Twice consecutively. I can't look past that, as much as I try to see both sides of this issue.

The guy is tasteless and oblivious.
