i don't like the idea of forced abortion though i guess they do have a pretty severe population crisis. don't actually know enough to say whether i think that policy is right or not. it could possibly be a pragmatic necessity.

as for aborting cause they don't want daughters... that's their choice imo.

And this, respectfully. If I were to get pregnant now my SO would have every right to express his feelings on the matter, it would be his kid too and the aftermath of said abortion would impact us forever. Giving him the chance to give input would be in no way him telling me what to do.

If you're pro-life, something to consider...

Utah

Please, I don't want to consider it.

Rev. John C. Wester said "Utah cannot proclaim itself a pro-life state so long as it refuses to provide access to basic health care coverage to a significant portion of its citizens." I don't know from scanning through that article if Wester equates "basic health care" with "pro-Medicaid expansion" or was that a connection the writer, Kirsten Stewart, has made. Hopefully he doesn't but if he does then be weary of that, it sounds like he subscribes to Liberation theology.

Pro-life has expanded to include all sorts of things, including being against using the death penalty, which doesn't make sense to me coming to the side of someone guilty of taking human life. If it starts to include Obamacair then the term is rendered useless.
