That's the same position of the bag, the second blast. I apologize for the graphic image. Unlike the other image it shows the side of the mailbox facing the blast. Unlike the now contorted fencing, those boxes have heavy bolts on all four feet anchored in several inches of concrete. Those things are built to withstand the impact of a car.

yeah... i'm not gonna say that i'm convinced that yellowish bag is the bomb (although it does seem likely), but i will agree with the notion that a mailbox like that could endure a small bomb going off beside it with very little noticeable damage.
