Yes and no. It also depends on what you mean by fairness. Naturalism believes that there is no real purpose in nature (which I disagree with) and that nothing really happens for a reason. But fairness for us, is something completely different than for something else, therefore naturalism is an objective point of view. It overrides everything else, including what humans (who aren't really anything special the way we think we are) consider to be "fair".
