Then you wouldn't mind providing a link to a reliable source which backs up his claims?

I love it when people say stupid stuff like this because it always brings out all the idiots that are just crying out to be morally outraged to spout out their worthless opinion, and the stuff they come out with is usually hilarious.

He said something stupid, most people do, the end.

So you believe African Americans came from the British Isles and brought with them all the old tyme songs and fiddles tunes that eventually became Country Music? I think me and hhbh would like a reliable source - the reson I ask is just out of curiosity.

While he may have a point, 'cause don't get me wrong, some of my favorite music is made by black people, I think it was a little racist. I think there has become a double standard when it comes to this kind of thing. If a white actor came out and said white people are the most talented, he would be shunned, he would be called racist and his career would probably suffer. I will probably be considered racist for voicing this opinion.

What do you think?
I never get the "if a white guy said it..." argument. Stupid statements are stupid. It doesn't matter where they come from. I'm sure people would lose their mind if a white person said it but so what? Its not outrageous because a black guy said it, its outrageous because racism is stupid.

And yes, its racist. Its placing some value on a skin tone which has none. "Black people" are from far too many countries, cultures, and backgrounds to make a statement like that and have it be anything bu absurd.
