This is exactly why I don't call myself a Catholic anymore.

Haha, it's hard not to be cynical of any pope. Once I read that an American pope would have meant the right to bear arms!

Anyways, Italian, Madagascar or Antarctica pope...eh, nothing more than the same old bullshit.

Whenever I hear the words Catholic priest, I think of Jimmy Saville.

The new pope referred to the British as usurpers, obviously because of the Falklands. The pope calling someone a usurper, the sheer irony left me short of breath.

Meh, I think a better caption would be: "This mike is loaded. No funny moves, just hand over the cross and nobody'll get hurt, capische?"

Just saw on the news that Argentine president Kirchner who as far as presidents go is a bit of alright for a 60 year old, is as I predicted trying to get the new pope in on the Falklands conflict.
