I'll definitely give him that. I mean, spending was way up because of the two wars for sure. And Iraq was only recently cut out of the equation. I'm not saying good isn't being done. I'm just saying that it could have been done better, based on the failures so far. I'm ok with another 4 years, and I sincerely hope that it's enough time, but I really don't think that by the end of it, we'll be where he said we'd be. I think a lot of that is just a selling platform. And don't get me wrong, any campaign is, for the most part.
I just had more of an expectation, I guess.

For myself, it boils down to: Do I vote for the lesser of 2 evils, or stand my ground and write in a candidate who I believe in (to ensure that my voice is heard, even though it would inevitably mean nothing) . Either way we're all screwed.

Basically, the only sane choice is Jill Stein. Check this out son:

Welcome to the roaring twenties. It's a shame that the Green Party has little to no support among the plebs they fight for, and that possible legislation could enable such a radical and amazing new ideology as to enable complete economic and social equality or decentralization of wealth. **** is real son, Green Party trying to save the world one dirty hippie at a time.

"Sup niggas, I'm here to be your savior. **** everything, it's first female president time YOLO".

Can you not imagine that happening? Probably not because most of the wack ass voters ain't going to read about how this bitch is gonna Captain Planet this country.

I can't take them seriously.... their immigration policy is a joke: link ... which is terrible because **** immigration policy means even dramatic reductions in the amount of pollution produced per individual (say, 25%) would be worthless if the population grew by 50% in the same time frame.

Im not going to vote,im just going to complain about everything wrong with America. I dont see anyone worth voting for, and I REFUSE to vote for Obama just cause he seems to be the lesser of the two evils. Its been four years and were still waiting on "change" Until booze is outlawed and or monday night football is banned from t.v. Then I could care less what any of America's finest candidates have on their agenda to lie about. Contrary to popular belief, my one vote is not going to make a difference anyway.

This thread is a microcosm of the political opinions of the country. And it, like the country, is the greatest example of why we need a ruling class. Because the unwashed twitter users are perfectly happy to bitch, but not to research anything, manage expectations, have sober discussions, or really ask themselves what matters.

I think we need an Aristocracy, and I blame Jackson for us not having one.

If this is legitimate, and we can get enough support, Jesse Ventura would be an amazing leader for our country. I for one will will do my best to make this happen.

I think a true Jacksonian democracy would make people feel less apathetic and more inclined to be informed. Then again I'm definitely a glass half full kinda guy.

In other words, if the two Major candidates running weren't such a bunch of wonkish nerds, people would be less miserable?
