Let's see, you've got a group of disorganized scientists (a platform known for its poor PR) trying to convince the world of something it sorely doesn't want to hear, something that will require, already does require, drastic changes in our exorbitant consumption of the Earth's resources
versus a natural oil cartel richer than anything else in the world fueling a propaganda machine and buying off every politician and mediaperson they can how come some people still don't believe in climate change? |

Yeah, it's a really messy issue, and very much influenced by politics. Because the media is involved, it becomes less about discussing reality and coming to a consensus, and more about agendas and choosing sides. It's sad though, that because of all the disorganization and the passionate divisiveness, scientists who research climate and weather patterns are receiving death threats and lawsuits.

What I do know that we are gonna to have to dramatically cut the consumption that we currently do in the plant.
