I think a preference for being treated that way could originate from a number of places. There's our biology and the fact men are generally larger and stronger which must have had an influence. There could be underlying emotional/psychological things from the past which makes someone sexually submissive. Then there's culture, for example cultures in which men have controlled women and sex/porn culture itself. Porn caters more to the fantasies of men than it does women at the moment. That means the industry, and the sex culture it promotes, is one that caters more to men than women. Girls today may, from watching porn, learn that getting slapped and choked by men is sexy. If porn was different, perhaps they wouldn't.

So much to potentially get into ..

Maybe women should consume more porn and thus create a consumers demand for more female friendly porn. Today, I can easily find a video of a guy getting blown by three girls until he cums in their faces - and it's over. According to the narrative, what the chicks got out of it was the pleasure of giving the man a BJ. But where's the video where a woman gets blown by three guys and when she's done, it's all over? It's definitely not only women that are submissive though so the whole men being larger and stronger thing doesn't fly because it doesn't explain the large amount of submissive guys out there.
